Is “Who will win the NBA East?” really a valid question? If LeBron can lead a bench version of the Cavaliers to the NBA Championship Finals, what do you think he can do with the rest of the team’s “Big Three” on the court with him? NBA predictions for who will win the East say LeBron and company, with Love and Irving back and healthy, can win the entire thing.
The Cavaliers’ Big Three
The 2015-2016 season will be the sophomore season for the Cavs’ power trio. So, while the combination is still experimental, we’ve already seen a bit of the on-court chemistry that these three players have. When they step foot on the basketball court this year, they’ll have a year of getting to know each other behind them. And they’ll have a supporting roster of players who are fresh with playoff, and Finals, drive and determination.
The Eastern Conference Odds
So, the Cavs are surely the team to beat in the East. They really don’t need to worry about getting to the playoffs, and to the Championship Game, as far as we’re concerned because far behind them sit the Chicago Bulls and the Miami Heat, with 15 to 2 and 14 to 1 odds to win the Championship Final, respectively.
Cleveland will have a very easy road to the 2016 NBA Finals. The Bulls will probably be good, but not good enough to give the Cavs a serious run for their money. Last season, the Cavaliers took care of the Bulls in 6 games in the second round. The Bulls have been unable to beat the Cavs, and James, in the post season.
The Machines Picks, using our sports betting system, is predicting that LeBron’s former team might actually be the one to give the Cavs their greatest challenge. But, again, it’s not going to be much of a challenge at all.
