For the first time in the history of the NFL three teams stand at 8-0. The Carolina Panthers, New England Patriots, and Cincinnati Bengals are all halfway to an undefeated season of 16-0. So, will any of these three teams make it through the whole 2015-2016 season undefeated?
Our sports analysts say that the New England Patriots have the best chances of finishing off the season 16-0 with a 13.5 percent chance of going undefeated. The Carolina Panthers have a mere 2.1 percent chance of finishing the season 16-0 and the Cincinnati Bengals 3.7 percent chance.
Who Will Go Undefeated?
In terms of NFL predictions, of the three possible undefeated finishes the Patriots are most likely to finish off with a perfect season. This comes despite the fact that New England’s remaining schedule is much tougher than both the Carolina Panthers and the Cincinnati Bengals. As of now (according to our export sports analytics) the New England Patriots have greater than a 50 percent chance of winning every one of their remaining games this season. The toughest being the 12th game against the Broncos, where they are still predicted to have a 60 percent chance of winning.
It is during game 11 that the Cincinnati Bengals are predicted to lose against the Arizona Cardinals, with a 62 percent chance of losing. Of course all of these numbers can change in the up coming week. Factory in injury, weather condition and other outside elements will all change the outcome and could change the perfect season run.
However, it is not impossible for the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots to finish the season with an undefeated 16-0, as at no point do any of these teams play each other.
